Abstract

Following the Declaration of Independence in 1945, amidst the shared joy of the entire nation, President Ho Chi Minh clearly expressed his aspiration to build the country, “reaching the pinnacle of glory to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s leading powers”. “A letter sent to the Vietnamese industry and trade community” (October 13, 1945) was one of the first steps taken by the head of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam to realize that strategic vision. This article analyzes the core values of President Ho Chi Minh's heartfelt, trusting, and hopeful letter to the industry and trade community, reflecting his thoughts on national construction and its significance for building the identity of entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City today.
