Abstract
Abstract: Drawing on analysis of national survey data, provincial-level data, and qualitative research, this article identifies the challenges faced by ethnic minority children in general education. Despite substantial state support, disparities in education quality persist between ethnic minority children and the national average. Consequently, higher education opportunities for this group remain limited. Economic conditions, living environments, school infrastructure, learning conditions, language barriers, and gender stereotypes constitute key factors influencing this reality.
