In the era of the Industrial Revulution 4.0, together with the transformation of traditional information
forms to digital ones, e-trade has become more popular and has affected several fields of life, including
education. Many universities have shifted their teaching modes to online teaching practice so as to timely
catch up with the curricula progress and at the same time to enhance the advantages of technology serving
for digital information transformation. This article presents our studies on the factors affecting learning
results for the subject of basic informatics application with an aim to improve the quality of teaching and
learning in Dong Thap University.
