ABSTRACT
In recent years , the Party Committee - Management Board of People’s Police College II has always paid
attention to and focused on innovating teaching methods in the direction of developing learners’ capacity.
For more particularly, we focus on improving the quality of classroom practice sessions with many methods,
especially focusing on the case method in teaching practice of criminal investigation, which contributes to
improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Therefore, in the content of this article, the author
analyzes and evaluates a number of shortcomings, limitations and causes of those limitations, thereby the
author offers some solutions to contribute to improving the effectiveness of using the case method in teaching
practice the subject “Basic issues of criminal investigation” of the Faculty of Basic Operations in People’s
Police College II.
