Tóm tắt

The article presents some issues about competence, the difference between teaching with a competency approach and teaching with a content approach for students. The author raises the concept of capacity to be formed for students when teaching number theory; Especially the ability to self-study, the ability to solve problems by themselves; Ability to apply reasoning rules in problem solving; The ability to apply the dialectic of mathematical thinking; Ability to combine induction and inference in problem solving; Ability to construct and test hypotheses; The ability to detect objects has the function of evoking motives for knowledge-seeking activities. In addition, there are notes for instructors in flexibly and creatively choosing appropriate competencies to form for students when teaching number theory. Besides, equipping students with necessary skills to be able to meet practical needs when participating in teaching at primary school.
