The article summarizes some basic theories about stress and online teaching as well as mentions some of the causes of psychological stress during online teaching. Thus, it introduces some techniques that are being used by psychologists in recent years to support lecturers to reduce stress, such as early recognizing signs of stress at work, writing down stressors, positive thinking, making time for oneself to relax, sharing about the stress at work, practicing time management skills, taking care of one’s health, stopping the pursuit of perfection, and doing regular relaxation breathing exercises. A mentally healthy mind, followed by a physically healthy body, is one of several ways to help lecturers enhance their quality of life and raise their professional standards, particularly in online teaching.
