Current status of vocabulary development for children aged 3-4 through experiential activities at preschools in Tuyen Quang city

Abstract

Eveloping children’s vocabulary through experience is a dominant activity. Youth activities not only help children acquire knowledge about surrounding objects and phenomena, but also expand children’s vocabulary, concise and active vocabulary. In preschools in Tuyen Quang city today, teachers mainly only pay attention to developing children’s vocabulary through literature classes, storytelling or the surrounding environment... following the preschool education program but do not know how to take advantage of and promote the advantages of youth activities to develop children’s vocabulary. From that reality, this article presents the results of a survey of the current status of vocabulary development for 3-4 year old children through experiential activities in some kindergartens in Tuyen Quang city.
