Today, English is very necessary and important for us to be able to access and update global sources of knowledge. Learning English does not just stop at communication proficiency, but you also need to be good at your specialized English. That will be very convenient for the work that learners will do in the future. In some schools in Vietnam, specialized English is separated into a subject. However, the time for this subject is still very limited and the teachers who can undertake this subject are also very limited. Therefore, how to overcome the difficulties in using specialized English for students is always a question for educators. In this article, the author will research and understand the current situation and difficulties in teaching and learning specialized English. From there, some recommendations are made to improve the effectiveness of English teaching for specific purposes so that learners can use English for work and life in the future.
