Provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code on prosecuting criminal cases at the request of the victim – Difficulties, problems and solutions for improvement

Abstract

Prosecuting a criminal case is the responsibility of competent authorities but in special cases, the request of the victim or his representative is a condition for prosecuting a criminal case. After three times of codification, the regulations on prosecuting criminal cases at the request of the victim in the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code are increasingly improved. However, this regulation still has certain problems that require evaluation and the development of complete solutions to ensure that the meaning of prosecution at the request of the victim is always maintained.
