Some personal characteristics of drug offenders in Thai Nguyen province

Abstract

Criminology studies the characteristics of the offender’s personality to elucidate a part of the causes and conditions of crime, providing solutions to prevent crime. Within the scope of this article, from a criminological perspective, the author wants to discuss some issues related to the personal characteristics of murder offenders in Thai Nguyen province based on the statistics of the People’s Court of Thai Nguyen province from 2018 to 2021 and 100 first-instance criminal convictions for murder (randomly selected).
