Abstract

As one of the agencies to protect justice, according to Article 32 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the French Republic, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has representatives in each Criminal Court; to attend the debates of the Trial Panel; all decisions of the Court are made in the presence of the Prosecutor to ensure the enforcement of the decisions of the Court. The right to lodge protest is one of the effective tools used by the Prosecutor’s Office to promote its role in criminal proceedings. The article analyzes the overall right to lodge protest of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the French in order to point out specific points and give some suggestions on reasonable legislative experience that Vietnam can learn from.
