STUDY OF CONSERVING THE MEDICINAL PLANT RESOURCES IN PHU LUONG DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE, VIET NAM
Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the actual situation, potentials of using the medicinal plant resources and propose the management solutions, exploitation, conservation and development of the medicinal plant resources in Phu Luong district. Subjects: The medicinal plants surveyed in Dong Dat, Phu Ly, Hop Thanh and Co Lung Commune, Phu Luong District have been using and have economically valuable. Methods: Making a list of the medicinal plants which have been using and have economically valuable with statistical methods and morphological comparison of them. Results: There are 88 species which belong to 79 genera, 54 families, 3 phyla of Plantae in four communes of Phu Luong district used in medicine. There are 5 medicinal species which need be conserved in this area. This number accounts for 5.68% of the total medicinal species collected.
