RESULTS ON CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING FOR WOMEN IN HAU GIANG PROVINCE IN THE PERIOD 2015-2019

Abstract

This study was conducted on 9,001 women aged 21-70 in Chau Thanh A district, Vi Thuy district, Long My district and Long My town of Hau Giang province to determine the current situation of cervical lesions and Several risk factors related to cervical damage for women aged 21-70 years in Hau Giang province. The results detected 5,402 cases of gynecological infections, VIA (+) counted as 570 cases. Percentage of abnormal PAP test results is 53 cases, of which: ASCUS (3.9%), LSIL (1.8%), HSIL (0.9%), AGC (2.8%). Women aged 30- 39 have the highest rate of VIA (+) (9.1%). The most common type of uterine injury in this investigation was cervicitis. 60.0% of the study subjects were supported with medicines for gynecological infections; 5.3% supported cold pressure treatment.
