EFFECT OF IRRIGATION TO L14 PEANUT VARIETY IN THE SPRING SEASON IN GIA LAM HANOI

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of irrigation on growth and yield of L14 peanut variety in the spring season in Gia Lam, Hanoi. Eight irrigation treatments in this experiment were arranged in randomized complete block design with 3 replicates including: CT 1: Non irrigation (Control); CT 2: Irrigation at seedling stage; CT3: Irrigation at flowering stage; CT 4: Irrigation at full seed stage; CT 5: Irrigation at seedling stage + flowering stage; CT 6: Irrigation at seedling stage + full seed stage; CT 7: Irrigation at seedling stage + flowering stage + full seed stage; CT 8: Irrigation at flowering stage + full seed stage. The result showed that irrigation for peanut on flowering stage and full seed stage increased growth duration, leaf area, Fv/m and yield of L14 peanut variety. The high grain pod yield (3.12 tons/ha) with high economic value was obsered in the CT 3 treatment (irrigation at flowering stage).
