DEVELOPMENT OF A REGISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR STUDENT WITH 5 GOOD CRITERIA AT CAN THO UNIVERSITY: NEEDS AND CURRENT SITUATION ANALYSIS
Abstract
This paper focuses on the development of a registration and management system for the students with 5 good criteria at Can Tho University, aiming to assess needs, current status, and propose solutions to promote comprehensive student development. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining theoretical analysis with data collection through surveys from a large number of students. Data were then analyzed to identify needs and challenges, leading to the proposal of an integrated management system. The results indicate the necessity of applying Management by Objectives (MBO) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) models to improve management processes and support students in achieving the "student with 5 good criteria" standards. The study concludes that implementing a management system not only contributes to effectively promoting the "student with 5 good criteria" movement at the university but also plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of education and comprehensive development for students at Can Tho University.
