Abstract

Forming students' interest in learning Physical Education will contribute to improving the quality of teaching, contributing to increasing students' love and responsibility for their own health training. Based on research on theoretical issues,  the article aims to evaluate the current state of learning interest of non-major students in the subject of Physical Education at the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University. The research content is through the following 04 methods: survey method, interview method, pedagogical observation method and statistical mathematical method. To improve the interest in learning Physical Education for non-major students at the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University, from research and evaluation of factors affecting the learning interest of students in the major. Non-specialists in the subject Physical Education, the author has proposed 06 measures to increase interest in learning the subject Physical Education for students in the whole school in general and non-specialized students in particular.
