ASSESSING THE POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL TOURISM IN BAO LAC DISTRICT, CAO BANG PROVINCE
Abstract
The study aims to assess the potential of agricultural tourism in Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province. The research objectives include evaluating the current state of resources, the development status of agricultural tourism, and the economic and social conditions. The research methods include collecting secondary and primary data. Secondary data were collected from district reports and scientific publications published in scientific journals. Primary data were collected through interviews with 35 households and 35 tourists. The research results show that Bao Lac district has the potential to develop agricultural tourism with strengths such as a fresh climate, abundant local labor force with experience in both traditional and modern agricultural production. To develop agricultural tourism, it is necessary to invest in the transportation system, housing system, upgrade sanitation systems, waste treatment, and equipment to support residents in tourism activities. Immediate solutions include training to raise community awareness in developing high-quality products associated with local scenic spots and key crops.
