Abstract
The new technology of dam construction is being applied in Vietnam more and more widely. In many countries, self – compacting concrete (SCC) has been applied in the construction of many type of buiding and have many good results. Research and application of SCC with rock for dam is a new idear. Dozens of RFC dam have been built in China. The research focus on mechanical properties and thermal-physical properties of RFC. Through some analysis of rock – filled concrete (RFC) test experiments for in – depth studies on new technology in dam construction, so that RFC applications are soon as practiced in dam construction in VietNam
