Thực trạng chất lượng nước trong hệ thống thủy lợi Dầu Tiếng và đề xuất biện pháp giảm thiểu ô nhiễm
Abstract
The study used two methods: (i) statistical assessment through individual water quality index and compared with QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT (columns A1, B1) and (ii) WQI water quality index compares with the color scale at Decision 1460/QD-TCMT dated 12/11/2019. The scope of the study of surface water quality in the Dau Tieng irrigation system at 24 observation locations is evenly distributed in the system (key works, irrigation canals, drainage channels, saltwater suppression areas) with 07 sampling periods in dry season to early rainy season for 12 monitoring indicators (Salinity, pH, DO, TSS, BOD5, COD, PO43-, NH4+, NO2-, NO3-, FeTS and Coliform). Research results have shown the situation, the evolution of water quality in the irrigation system has obvious fluctuations in space and time such as: upstream areas (lakes, behind culverts and main canals) are generally of good quality except for a few locations at some times of the year; downstream areas (branch canals, drainage canals, salt-dispersing areas) water quality is worse, signs of nutrient and organic pollution through some indicators of ammonium, nitrite, BOD5, coliform. The results of water quality assessment to propose measures to reduce water pollution, stably and sustainably protect surface water resources in the region.
