Abstract

The paper presents the research results on the impact of the development of new residential areas and infrastructure on the flood drainage capacity, thereby proposing co.rrective solutions to ensure flood prevention requirements on the Red river through Hanoi capital The effectiveness of the  river training work solutions which are quantitatively evaluated will serve as the basis for the detailed planning of the river training works system on the section of the Red river through Hanoi in particular and be applied throughout the system in general.
