Abstract

Currently, the application of the circular economy in Vietnam has initially brought about economic, social and environmental efficiency. However, the implementation of the circular economy model in businesses still faces some difficulties and has not created a large spillover effect in the production community and society. Research to evaluate the possibility of applying the circular economy model at the Branch of Wongeak Industry Company Limited (Vietnam) in Hai Duong (Wongeak Hai Duong Company) with the following methods: Collect information documents; Field survey and combination of sociological investigation; ReSOLVE framework. The results show that the current status of production and implementation of circular economy at Wongeak Hai Duong Company still faces many challenges: The awareness of officials and employees about circular economy is not high; Some stages of waste generation have not been proactively treated and circulated; The three activities of regeneration, recycling/reuse and sharing are at the initial level of implementation (according to the ReSOLVE framework's assessment scale at below 4). The study recommends a number of solutions for Wongeak Hai Duong Company to promote the application of the circular economy model such as: continuing to raise awareness for officials and employees about circular economy, considering shifting the use of raw materials. Environmentally friendly, using renewable energy.
