Abstract

This article presents the research results of the ministerial-level project: “Research
on housing solutions for migrant women in big cities” conducted in 2021. Te research
methods include: Researching relevant documents and conducting a direct survey using a
questionnaire for 497 migrant women in Hanoi, questionnaires for 298 stakeholders and
in-depth interviews/sub-group discussions with representatives of female migrant groups,
service providers, policymakers, and experts who live in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. Te
article points out the bases for proposing housing solutions for migrant women, suggesting
some solutions fom the perspective of migrant women and stakeholders.
