Discussion on the dissemination and education of environmental protection policies and laws in Quang Nam Province: Development of documents, programs, plans, and assignment and coordination of implementation

Abstract

The dissemination and education of policies and laws on environmental protection is a crucial step to ensure their prompt application in practice. Recognizing this importance, the  political system of Quang Nam province, from the provincial to the grassroots levels, has devoted significant attention to disseminating and educating policies and laws in general, including those on environmental protection. The development and promulgation of documents, programs, plans, as well as the assignment and coordination of implementation are key components for the successful dissemination and education of policies and laws on environmental protection. Based on practical approaches from both provincial to grassroots levels, and incorporating feedback from people, production establishments and enterprises, the article focuses on analyzing the current status of developing and promulgating documents, programs, plans, as well as assigning and coordinating implementation. From there, the article proposes recommendations to contribute to improving the effectiveness of dissemination and education of policies and laws on environmental protection in Quang Nam province.
