The relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement: A qualitative study on the banking industry
Abstract
This study aims to understand and analyze the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement in a banking industry. Qualitative research methods used this topic. Results show that factors in organizational culture affect employee engagement, enhancing the positive influence of organizational culture and employee engagement in the organization. Based on these findings, the author proposes some managerial implications to improve and enhance communication and mutual support in the organization, helping leaders recognize positive impact of organizational culture. Consequently, they can make reasonable decisions and good policies to build better organizational culture and limit the lack of connection between employees and leaders as well as among employees.
