Đà Nẵng city’s promotion of the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation towards the Era of Nation's Rise

Abstract

Practical experience of countries and localities shows that achieving rapid, sustainable and long-term economic growth requires reforming the growth model by leveraging intellectual resources and property, advancing science and technology, building and developing new business models, products and services. This necessitates a truly friendly environment, encouraging and promoting science, technology, and innovation associated with digital transformation, engaging the active participation of multiple stakeholders including state agencies, research institutes, universities, science and technology organizations, investment funds, support organizations, incubators, experts, scientists -  with enterprises playing a central role. This article analyzes the current status of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in Đà Nẵng city. On that basis, the article also proposes a number of solutions to further advance this field to meet the requirements of the country's new era of development as outlined in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo.
