Examining the Impact of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility on Employee Work Engagement in Luxury Accommodations in Khánh Hòa
Abstract
This study assesses the impact of employees' perceptions of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on their work engagement in luxury accommodations in Khánh Hòa. Data were randomly collected from 550 employees and managers through face-to-face interviews and online surveys. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study integrates both qualitative and quantitative analyses, with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) employed to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that CSR directed at stakeholders exerts a positive influence on work engagement, with employee-focused CSR demonstrating the strongest effect. The research model exhibits a high degree of fit, and the hypotheses are validated with strong statistical significance. These results underscore the critical role of CSR in fostering employee work engagement and provide a robust scientific foundation for optimizing CSR policies within the hospitality sector. Furthermore, the study suggests expanding the model to incorporate mediating and moderating variables to gain deeper insights into the mechanisms underlying CSR’s impact in future research.
