Comparative relative sentences in the epics of Đăm Săn and Xing Nhã

Abstract

The comparative relative sentences constitute one of the most frequently occurring sentence types in the Ê Đê epics. However, there are still many gaps in research on the semantics, grammar and pragmatics of the comparative sentences in these epics. This article presents the linguistic characteristics, specifically the structure of the comparative relative sentences in the Đăm Săn and the Xing Nhã Epics. This is one of the necessary and significant studies in promoting linguistic research in general, and the study of minority languages ​​in particular.
