Abstract
Dao Duy Tu (1572-1634) was a Confucianist, but being more or less influenced by Zen-Buddha ideology. The issue of integrating the three thoughts - a fairly common phenomenon in the ideology of medieval authors in Vietnam and countries in the East Asian cultural area - has been clearly shown through his work named “Tu Dung van” (praising the Tu Hien seaport in Thua Thien Hue). This article will address the issue mentioned above.
