The relationship between building artist images in literary works and writers’ professional awareness

Abstract

Since Doi Moi (1986), Vietnamese literature has made great breakthroughs
in both subject content and form of expression. Along with the innovation in structure and
the art of prosody, there has been a comprehensive renewal of authors’ mindset that affects
readers’ perception and their artistic sense. The article explores the relationship between
building artist images in literary works and the writers’ professional awareness; besides, it
generalizes the artists’ role and missions in literary works as well as examining the writers’
professional awareness and their creative sense of artistic language through those characters
during the innovation.
