Implementing extended producer responsibility in Viet Nam
Abstract
In Vietnam, Economic economic development without the implementation
of extended producer responsibilities is one of the important causes of leading to the
inefficiency inineffective environmental protection in Vietnam so farrecently. Although In
spite of recycling activities have been carried outin Viet Nam in Vietnam, they are nothave
been not carried out thoroughfully, and ineffectively, due to spontaneity, highly spontaneous
and lacking of strict management and control. The 2020 Environmental Protection Law 2020
has stipulated the producers’ responsibility of the manufacturer for the post-use period and
these contents willthat takes effect from 2023. This article will introduces some contentsissues
related to EPR and analyzes the implementation of recycling in Vietnam in recent years. On
that basisground, the author proposes some solutions to improve improving the efficiency of
EPR implementation in the coming years.
