Effective method of reading chinese books for Chinese learners: a case of students majoring in Chinese language at Lac Hong university

Abstract

In the current context of Vietnam, Chinese is essential for meeting both societal and individual needs. Reading Chinese books is one of the most straightforward, practical, and affordable ways to learn Chinese language and advance an individual’s Chinese language proficiency. Through the methods of survey, synthesis, and comparative analysis of pertinent materials, this research has generalized the attitude of Chinese language learners towards reading Chinese literature and provided recommendations on how to do so. Chinese language learners will benefit from the author's successful approach to reading Chinese novels since it will enable them to improve their reading, speaking, listening, and writing abilities as well as their understanding of Chinese culture.
