Abstract

This article combines the methods of listing, analyzing, comparing and contrasting the animals described in Korean proverbs to bring out a characteristic of Korean culture. The author clarifies the views of Koreans in using the image of animals in proverbs through the process of analyzing ethnic origins, clarifying natural conditions and places of
