OPTIMIZATION OF MODIFICATION OF BITUMEN BY RECYCLED RUBBER

Abstract

Optimization of modification of bitumen by recycled rubber has been studied based on the output: penetration, softening point and elastic recovery using experiment planning. Conditions for modification to achieve technical requirements for rubber asphalt for road and airport application: include recycled rubber content of 24-28% and stirring speed minimum of 1000 rpm at temperature 190 0C in 90 minutes.
