THE APPLICATION OF WATERMARKING TECHNIQUE IN DWT DOMAIN FOR RGB IMAGES COPYRIGHT PROTECTION.

Abstract

              This article proposes an approach of Watermarking technique in the frequency domain by applying the multi-resolution Discrete Wavelet Transform in order to obtain more robustness in resistance to attacks, invisibility which is compatible with multichannel model in Human Visual System, as well as capacity of

embedded Watermarking. Specifically, the article proposes an algorithm to build a Watermarking system for protecting, tamper proofing, and authenticating RGB image’s copyright. This study can be also applied into protecting Intellectual Property of other digital resources. MATLAB Program was used to perform the watermarking task.
