Abstract

Endoscopic thyroid surgery is a difficult technique, has been implemented in many countries all over the world with different techniques. With outstanding advantages, the method of endoscopic thyroid surgery which has now being performed in National hospital of endocrinology is considered simple to perform, safe, effective, less time consuming, especially greatly reduced cost compared to other thyroid surgery techniques being done in the world. Along with the success achieved in the treatment by endoscopic thyroid surgery, National hospital of endocrinology has contributed significantly to the development of the medicine, aiming at promoting health care for people. Contemporaneously, it contributes to increasing the status of endoscopic thyroid surgery in particular and Vietnam medical sector in general in the world medicine.
