Current status of school violence prevention activities for students in middle schools in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the current status of school violence prevention activities for students in secondary schools in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province according to the educational components approach. The study conducted a survey of 36 administrators, 80 teachers and 357 students at 18 secondary schools in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. Research results show that school violence occurs quite frequently; The majority of administrators, teachers and students are aware of the role of school violence prevention activities; The results of implementing the content, form and method of organizing school violence prevention activities are assessed at a good level, the level of participation of educational forces is quite regular, the conditions for supporting the organization are quite good ensure. However, in the process of implementing school violence prevention activities for students, there are still some shortcomings and limitations. The research results are an important practical basis to propose measures to improve the effectiveness of school violence prevention activities for students in middle schools.
