Abstract

This article presents the findings of a study on the current status of the school environment in upper secondary schools in Hue City. The study employed a survey method using the Delaware School Climate Scale – Student Version, administered to 722 students from four upper secondary schools. The results indicate that the school environment in these schools is generally perceived as positive and safe. The study also reveals significant gender differences in students’ perceptions of bullying behaviors, as well as grade-level differences in several components of the school environment. These findings provide practical implications for developing targeted measures to improve the quality of the school environment in upper secondary schools in Hue City in the coming period.
