About the Journal
The University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), founded in 1957, is a leading academic and research institution in central Vietnam. The university is dedicated to educating highly qualified human resources and conducting fundamental and applied research in natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, engineering, and technology, contributing to national development. HUSC has developed a strong team of lecturers and researchers with recognized expertise. Each year, the university carries out numerous research projects and publishes a significant number of scientific papers in reputable national and international journals.
To facilitate the dissemination of information on the university’s educational and scientific research activities, as well as to introduce and publish research and technological development results nationwide, Hue University’s University of Sciences (HUSC) was granted permission to publish the first issue of the Journal of Science and Technology, University of Sciences, Hue University under Press License No. 495/GP-BTTT dated December 25, 2013, issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications. The journal was subsequently assigned an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) for multiple issues by the Ministry of Science and Technology on July 23, 2014.
The journal is published quarterly, with four issues per year. Each issue consists of three sections. The journal prioritizes the quality of submissions and maintains a high level of selectivity. All published articles undergo a rigorous peer-review process and present original scientific findings. The peer-review team includes scientists with appropriate expertise and recognized scientific reputation relevant to the content of each manuscript. The journal is published in two formats: an electronic version and a printed version. The Editorial Board continuously strives to improve the quality of manuscripts and regularly enhances the editorial and publishing processes. Reflecting the multidisciplinary training and research fields of the university - including natural sciences, engineering and technology, and social sciences and humanities- the journal publishes three main thematic sections:
