Results of exercises to develop speed endurance for the 1st year students at Haiphong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, academic year 2024 – 2025
Abstract
Objective. The study aims to compare the performance before and after general physical exercises for first-year students of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the 2024-2025 academic year. Subjects and methods. The subjects include all first-year students studying the athletics course, including 552 students, including 288 males and 264 females. The research method is a pre-post intervention without control. Results and conclusions. Comparing the performance before and after in the 4 tests, all had P < 0.05, demonstrating a statistically significant difference. The growth rate in the Long Jump Test in place for men was 8.3%, for women was 9.4%; the Lying Down with Abdominal Curls Test in men was 17.9%, for women was 18.2%; the 30m Running Test (XPC) in men was 10.1%, for women was 10%; The 5-minute running test for men was 13.4% and for women was 9.6%.
