CURRENT STATUS OF MEDICAL ETHICS EDUCATION FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS AT VO TRUONG TOAN UNIVERSITY
Abstract
Developing faculty workforce is a critical factor determining the success of higher education. This article examines faculty development experiences at the worldwide leading universities through document analysis and international comparison methods, including models from the United States, Europe and Asia. The research identifies common success factors: rigorous recruitment standards, clear career pathways, transparent evaluation mechanisms, competitive compensation and academic environments that encourage innovation. Based on these findings, the article proposes policy solutions appropriate to Vietnam's context regarding training, recruitment, promotion, compensation and evaluation management, along with specific implementation roadmaps to enhance faculty quality to meet integration requirements and sustainable development.
