DEVELOPMENT OF SHORT-TERM TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CDIO APPROACH

Abstract

The CDIO approach has been effectively applied to the development of training programs across universities in Vietnam and in the world. Using the CDIO approach in training is necessary, helping to comprehensively develop learners' competencies in the direction of output standards. For general education, teacher training is always a matter of concern to help teachers improve their capacity, to meet the requirements of the general education program implementation in the current national digital transformation period. However, there have not been many studies mentioning the CDIO approach in the development of refresher programs for teachers, high school teachers in particular. The article focuses on researching published scientific works to analyse, evaluate and draw theoretical bases, thereby proposing steps to develop short-term training programs for high school teachers according to the CDIO approach to improve the quality of training, aiming to comprehensively develop the capacity of teachers.
