PERCEPTIONS OF TEACHING COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT GOALS FOR LECTURERS AT MILITARY COLLEGES

Abstract

Developing teaching competency for lecturers at military colleges is an activity aimed at the comprehensive development of their qualities, professional expertise, and pedagogical abilities. The survey, involving 243 lecturers and administrators, was conducted to assess their perceptions regarding the professional development goals for enhancing teaching competency among the faculty at Military Colleges. The findings unanimously indicate that the participating lecturers and administrators attribute significant importance to these stated teaching competency development objectives. The results indicate that all participants rated these goals as important. This assessment notably differs from the perceptions of lecturers at civilian colleges.
