THE CURRENT SITUATION OF ENGLISH INTRODUCTION ACTIVITIES FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN IN BINH CHANH COMMUNE, HO CHI MINH CITY
Abstract
In the context of international integration, exposing preschool children to English plays an important role in building a language foundation and promoting holistic development. This study aims to examine the current status of English familiarization activities for children in preschools in Binh Chanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City. The article uses ocument analysis combined with a questionnaire survey administered to of 115 managers and teachers. The results show that the schools have generally implemented the objectives, content, methods of organization, testing and evaluation, but the quality of implementation depends on many factors such as the professional capacity of teachers, physical facilities, the level of interaction in the classroom and parental support. These findings are a practical basis for proposing management measures to improve the effectiveness of English familiarization activities and better support the comprehensive development of preschool children.
