Abstract

Modern technology has completely transformed the concept of traditional workspaces, allowing employees to work from anywhere at any time. Recent advancements in technology have impacted every aspect of human resources, from sourcing to performance management. Experts believe that technology plays a significant role in the HR department. The technology-driven transformation is impacting organizations in two ways: 1) it provides more tools to manage and attract talent into organizations; 2) it is helping HR managers shift their focus from managing the workforce to optimizing profits for the company. To prepare for the Industry 4.0 revolution, Vietnamese businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, need to concentrate, cautiously and quickly catch up with the trend of digitization, not only for the manufacturing sector but also for developing human resources and optimizing company resources.
