DEVELOPING COMPETENCIES OF ONLINE TEACHING FOR THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

Online teaching is a direction in the digital transformation of the vocational education system to meet the diverse learners needs. One of the factors that has an important influence on the quality of teaching in general and online teaching in vocational education is the teaching capacity of teachers. The article uses the document review method, combined with a survey, to evaluate the current state of online teaching capacity of teachers at a number of vocational education institutions, thereby proposing five measures to develop online teaching capacity for vocational teachers in Ho Chi Minh City.
