Abstract

The August Revolution in 1945 was the first major victory in the Communist Party-led Vietnamese revolution. The victory of the Party's proper national liberation line, along with Ho Chi Minh's philosophy of independence and freedom, resulted in the establishment of The Democratic Republic nation. The Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a significant achievement of the August Revolution, is a state of the people, by the people, and for the people; it reflects the nature and strength of a typical national liberation revolution, as well as a form of government appropriate to the Vietnamese revolution's practice. The article focuses on clarifying Ho Chi Minh's contributions to the Vietnamese revolution's development path, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the process of realizing the Democratic Republic's model, and its value in today's Vietnam as a socialist rule-of-law state.
