SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING OF OUR COUNTRY AND ITS REGIONS IN THE NEW SITUATION AND SUGGESTIONS FOR SOC TRANG PROVINCE

Abstract

One of critical aspects of socio-economic development planning is the creation of an institution that possesses a cohesive strategic direction. The national and regional socio-economic development plans leading up to the year of 2030 with the vision for the year of 2045 will serve as the basis for fostering balanced, rapid, and sustainable development. This article examines the levels of socio-economic development planning in Vietnam, Mekong Delta region and offers policy recommendations for Soc Trang province in the current implementation of local socio-economic development planning.
