DEVELOPING HUMAN RESOURCE QUALITY IN THE SOUTHEAST REGION FROM 2002 TO 2022

Abstract

Human resource quality plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region. Based on the data of Vietnam Living Standards Survey (VHLSS), this study delineates the contemporary status of human resources and the evolution of human resource development within the Southeast region from 2002 to 2022, alongside the transformation of the occupational structure and various aspects pertaining to education and the qualifications of trained labor. Consequently, it elucidates the challenges that the Southeast region currently faces regarding human resources and proposes several pertinent recommendations.
