INTANGIBLE CULTURAL RESOURCE IN VINH LONG

Abstract

Cultural resources play a vital role in the socio-economic advancement of every nation and community. In Vinh Long province today, cultural reosources not only provide material and spiritual advantages but also enhance the sustainable economic, cultural, and social progress of the region. Utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to cultural value theory and qualitative research methods grounded in secondary data, along with participant observation and fieldwork, this article presents a comprehensive overview of intangible cultural resources in Vinh Long (old), spanning from traditional to contemporary. Consequently, it offers a holistic view of intangible cultural resources in Vinh Long, serving as a foundation for formulating and strategizing policies aimed at sustainable tourism and the socio-economic growth of the province.
