AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES OF THE STIENG PEOPLE IN BINH LONG TOWN, (OLD) BINH PHUOC PROVINCE IN THE CONTEXT OF URBANIZATION

Abstract

The findings derived from the analysis of the survey data (May 2025) concerning income generated from rice, rubber, cashew, various other crops, and small-scale livestock farming among the households of the Stieng community situated in the urbanized region of Hung Chien ward and Thanh Luong commune, Binh Long town, within the former Binh Phuoc province, indicate that agricultural production remains a crucial economic endeavor; consequently, support policies aimed at the Stieng community ought to consider this particular aspect of their livelihood.
